American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, also known as J.Lo, was born in the New York Bronx in 1970. Lopez started at the Manhattan dance studio when she was 17 and it was not until 1997 that she got her big break, being selected to play the lead in a film about the murdered singer Selena's life. After the film J.Lo decided to work on her singing career, and her first album went platinum. She has also enjoyed success with her clothing designs and perfume. The J.Lo perfume line is produced under arrangements with Coty. Her first fragrance, Glow, was launched in 2002 and was hugely successful, inspiring many other celebrities to enter the fragrance market. Since this first release J.Lo has gone on to release other perfumes such as, Still, Live, Miami Glow and Love at First Glow. J.Lo also has a self-titled clothing line.
