With its iris and incense accord, Iris Nazarena matches the worlds most precious aromatic material with the most ancient, taking perfumery into the future by bringing it back to its roots. The rare Iris Bismarckiana (also known as Iris Nazarena because it grows mainly in the mountains east of Nazareth), with its blossom of uncanny beauty, is the muse of this creation from perfumer Ralf Schweiger. Alongside this iris, limpid ambrette, with its pear, rose and musk facets, sheds the tender light of dawn on the top notes. Next to appear is a heart of aromatic, resinous juniper berry, star anise and rose, the latter adding a touch of floral sensuality. The base notes of patchouli and vetiver allude to its roots, whilst incense, clove and oud weave mineral, leather-scented tendrils throughout the dry-down of this mysterious, mystical and sensuous fragrance.
How to Use
- Like any fragrance, use one or two sprays around your neck and on your pulse points (areas where the body is warmer, such as the wrists, ankles, inside the elbows and behind the knees) from a minimum distance of 6 inches, then allow to dry without rubbing.
