It’s time to treat your locks to a soothing mask after a long weekend, ready to start Tuesday the right way.
We hope you’ve enjoyed your final bank holiday of the year and that you went out with a bang. Whatever you’ve spend your weekend doing, now that the celebrations are over, give your hair some TLC with a hair mask.
Hair masks are treatments that are made of nourishing oils, butters and other elements that instantly add hydration to your hair. They add more moisture to the strands of your hair than any shampoo or conditioner does, which produces dramatic results after just one use.
You generally use a hair mask in place of your conditioner while showering. Shampoo and rinse, pop in your mask on and leave it in for approximately five minutes (obviously, this will vary depending on the mask). While you’re waiting for said hair mask to work it’s magic, you can wash your face, scrub or shave to make the time fly by. Then simply rinse it out and continue as usual. They really are as simple as that, and they’re so good for your hair.
Hair masks are perfect for if your hair is damaged, frizzy, or if you simply just fancy treating yourself. They can make a huge difference to the strength of your hair and the way that it shines, so you don’t have to have run-down hair to use one. You can get specific masks to target different types of hair, for example if your hair is dry, you might want to find one that is full of hydrating nutrients like Shea butter, avocado and coconut oil. If your hair is curlier, you might look for one that has more botanic’s in it that will fight the frizz.
There’s a hair mask out there for everyone, and there’s no better time to use one than a Monday night. Prep yourself and your hair for the rest of the week with one of our favourites below.
