The new Tom Ford Costa Azzurra is here to offer uninhibited escape when we need it most.
An entirely new version of the Private Blend fragrance released in 2014, the new Tom Ford Costa Azzurra has arrived in its gold-bottled glory to transport us to summer days by the sea as Signature Collection. So, what does it smell like? It’s a woody aromatic dream reminiscent of tropical sea air and summer citrus fruits.
Costa Azzurra is as fresh a fragrance as they come. Following the success of Tom Ford Ombre Leather, another unisex fragrance, the new edition of Costa Azzurra is crafted with complementary accords suited to all genders, making it a more balanced Eau De Parfum than say Noir For Men Extreme. The original’s aromatic Mediterranean essence lives on in its Signature Collection edition, however some changes are expected to happen with it being released seven years later.
It opens with the same delicious smorgasbord of woody and aquatic top notes of Driftwood, Seaweed, Agarwood, Cardamom, Ambrette and Celery Seeds. The exhilarating aroma of fresh sea air is deepened by its citrus floral heart – Lemon, Lavender, Juniper, Yellow Mandarin, Myrtle – which has been given a new crispness with the addition of Cypress. Costa Azzurra’s long-lasting base medley of oaks and aromatics stays true to form, capturing the easy sensuality of sunkissed escapism.
Tom Ford Costa Azzurra Eau De Parfum comes in three sizes, each one a luxe gold-plated bottle to perfectly match the feeling of treating yourself to everything new for a well-deserved trip to a tropical paradise. All three spray bottles are ridged for an additional expensive touch, with the travel-ready 10ml Spray a long cylinder to make it easy to carry around all spring and summer long.
Worlds apart from Tom Ford Ombre Leather yet equal in its luxury, we already know Costa Azzurra is going to be smelled everywhere this summer.
