It’s Floral Design Day, so we’re looking at our favourite floral fragrances and the bottle designs that they come in.
National Floral Design Day the art and history of floral design. We decided to take a look at the floral fragrances at The Fragrance Shop and examine the way that their flacons are designed around the concept of the floral scents. From ultimate simplicity to extraordinary and elaborate conceptions, the floral designs on our floral fragrances are something to be appreciated by everyone.
Kenzo – Flower
Kenzo’s iconic bottle featuring a poppy is a simple, sleek, but totally memorable design. A simple and beautiful, fragile and strong red flower, like the woman who holds it. Unpredictable, the poppy grows here and there, where least expected, to re-enchant the city. It blossoms on the urban curves of the bottle.
Marc Jacobs’ Daisy Collection
When you think of a floral fragrance, Marc Jacobs Daisy is more than likely what springs to mind. The entire collection is kitted out with daisy floral designs in various versions. We love Daisy Eau So Fresh and Daisy Dream for their intricate and carefully placed flowers around the bottles and lids. Both very similar yet unique at the same time. Daisy Eau So Fresh creates perfect showcase for the delicate pink elixir of Daisy Eau So Fresh, the crystal-clear bottle takes whimsy to new heights, with its cap of playful daisies and pop of neon yellow. While Daisy Dream is a free-spirited cluster of monochrome daisies that neatly suggest the clouds in the sky on the transparent blue bottle.
Gucci – Bloom Acqua di Fiori
Elegant and sophisticated, the pale pink bottle is embellished with a whimsical floral print in a new green shade reflecting the scent’s fresh and energetic notes. A garden tea party in the summer, a field full of flowers, whatever this bottle says to you, it was designed with purpose.
Dolce & Gabbana – Dolce
Dolce & Gabbana, Dolce is encased in a thick-frosted glass and a flower-sculpted crimson cap that present the exquisite pale pink elixir.
Coach – Floral
Coach’s Floral fragrance is encased in a peach glass flacon, branded with the Coach icon. The floral scent is detailed delicately and subtly with a floral accessory attached by a chain. Simple and sweet, a floral design to be remembered.
