The History of Courrèges
Founded in 1961 by André and Coqueline Courrèges, the Courrèges house revolutionised the world of fashion and design, asserting its style, with a focus on structured lines and a devotion to white, later delving into more colour variations and new materials.
In 1971, ten years after launching the fashion house, André Courrèges unveiled his first fragrance, with Empreinte, a legendary 1970s scent. Then in 2015, Courrèges put its name to an iconic new creation: La fille de l’air, a remarkable, airy orange blossom fragrance.
In September 2020, Nicolas Di Felice was appointed artistic director of Courrèges. To mark the 60th anniversary of Courrèges, 50 years after the launch of the first fragrance, Nicolas Di Felice wanted to re-energise the house’s fragrance universe by shaping a unique, signature olfactory offering.

Make your home a haven with La Fille De L’air candle. Designed, sourced and manufactured in France, this luxury candle is scented with sweet notes of Neroli and Orange Blossom, whilst lying on a smooth base of White Musk.
Housed in lacquered glass jars and featuring a cotton wick, it provides 43 to 47 hours of scented burning.
Top Tip: The first time you use your candle, let it burn until the entire surface is liquid, to prevent a cavity forming and a deposit being left on the glass. Trim the wick regularly to prevent the candle from smoking, and re-centre it to ensure an even burn.
