With inclusivity, diversity and sustainability at its heart, D by Diesel, the latest fragrance from the trailblazing denim brand loved by celebrities, has its fingers on the pulse of Gen Z (and is dabbing scent on its pulse points, too)!
From the diverse casting in its advertising campaign, to its unisex juice and its message of unity and togetherness, Diesel makes its position clear: D by Diesel is a scent for everyone. Every element of the fragrance was conceived, with the help of Gen Z creative insight, to be as universal as a pair of jeans. And Glenn Martens, Diesel’s creative director, knows a thing or two about taking that wardrobe staple and making it fresh and relevant to new generations. The brand’s recent return to the runway at Milan Fashion Week was a triumph, catapulting Diesel and its distinctive D logo into countless Instagram feeds and Gen Z wardrobes.
D by Diesel captures that generation’s energy and spirit in a vegan juice that was concocted without a gender orientation. Created by perfumers Nisrine Grillié, Shyamala Maisondieu and Louise Turner, D by Diesel is an addictive, fresh and dynamic amber fougère. Its top notes include dynamizing ginger, which brings freshness and spiciness to the scent, while a denim cotton accord at its heart imparts the comfort of that timeless fabric. At its base, deep vanilla infusion evolves on skin to create a sensual and warm cocooning sensation.
The fragrance takes a strong stance on environmental matters too, with key ingredients, vanilla Bourbon premium infusion from Madagascar and diva lavender heart from Provence, both sustainably sourced and crafted exclusively for Diesel. Its packaging is also eco conscious. Its glass bottle is refillable, recyclable and made in part from recycled glass. Similarly, its outer carton is recyclable and made of partially recycled materials. To cut down on plastic waste, the carton is not covered with cellophane. D by Diesel is a fragrance with a message to share, and thanks to the universality of its scent, we know a lot of people are going to want to hear it!
