Floral fragrances aren’t just for women.

Flowers have always been a part of the male persona, even if they didn’t know it, and they’ve certainly always been part of the male fragrance world. Ancient King’s traditionally wore flowers up their sleeves to ensure they were welcomed with a pleasant smell. It’s known that Napoleon would place small bottles of orange blossom in his boots as he went into battle and Roman party hosts would spritz their dinner guests with rose water between courses. Floral essences have long taken their place in the lives of men.

Notes of geranium, violet, orange blossom and jasmine are commonly found in men’s aftershaves already, they’re just not advertised as ‘floral scents’. However, the addition of a floral extract is extremely popular and we’d like to assume that today, in 2019, men have derived from being scared away by a flower or two. So we’ve rounded up our favourite blossom-featuring men’s aftershaves, it’s time for you men to get in touch with your floral side.
