In the run-up to Valentine’s Day, Hugo Boss has released a sexy new fragrance for him and her. We’ve already announced it’s release in our recent round-up but we wanted to take a closer look at these scented soulmates.
Highly concentrated formulas are on the rise this year, with many brands like Paco Rabanne and Gucci releasing intense versions of popular fragrances. BOSS The Scent Le Parfum is the latest powerful reincarnation of a classic scent and we’re so excited to try it.
BOSS The Scent Le Parfum has a male and female edition, keeping the original’s comforting amber-like base while adding darker, more seductive elements. Designed to exude warmth, vitality and an alluring air of mystery, these scented soulmates would be the perfect gift for your partner…and yourself!
Hugo Boss | BOSS The Scent Le Parfum For Him EDP 50ml | £59.00

This begins with a bang, thanks to sharp top notes of ginger and the interesting inclusion of maninka fruit. A rare fragrance ingredient, it comes from the oncoba spinosa tree and is said to be a powerful aphrodisiac! It has the sweet, tart scent of dried fruit and it blends wonderfully with the powdery, floral heart of iris. The Scent’s animalistic base is achieved with sturdy, woody notes and the distinctive aroma of leather.
This fragrance is strong and sensual, with a hidden softer side. So it’s the perfect signature scent of the modern gentleman.
Hugo Boss | BOSS The Scent Le Parfum For Her EDP 50ml | £79.00

To complement the zesty ginger of its male counterpart, Le Parfum For Her starts with spicy pink peppercorn and ethereal orange blossom before descending into a smoking heart of vetiver. This dry grass extract has a woody, primal quality that compliments the leather notes of the male version. Finally, we come to the spirited base of fiery patchouli and warm agarwood, a balsamic, oud-y note that leaves a long-lasting trail.
With it’s sweet yet feisty, comforting with a touch of danger, this Eau de parfum is a must-have for any femme fatale.
