Happy World Book Day! Today’s the day for reading, creating costumes and celebrating your favourite literary characters.

If you’re anything like us, you’re still upset that you’re too old to wear a costume all day and get free book vouchers. To soothe our disappointment, we’re created a Book Day collection for scentaddict!

What’s scentaddict?

scentaddict is a fragrance subscription service that will deliver a new scent your door every month. Unlike other services, scentaddict has over 500 fragrances to choose from so you’re guaranteed to find something to suit your style. The best bit is it’s only £12 a month, that means you can try all the fragrances before for under £50!

How does it work?

After you set up your account, you can start building your scent calendar. With the ability to swap around your fragrances, and pause the service whenever you like, it’s never been easier to plan out your scent wardrobe. In your first delivery, you’ll receive an 8ml vial of fragrance – that’s enough for three sprays per day for thirty days – along with a travel-size atomizer so you can take your new scent wherever you go.

Dispensing the fragrance is easy! All you need to do is twist off the atomizer’s nozzle and place the vial inside before replacing the nozzle and spritzing to your heart’s content.

Alice – Guccci | Floral Gorgeous Gardenia

Alice In Wonderland is perhaps the most recognisable books of all time, inspiring countless adaptations. Alice has a curious spirit, though she’s often at odds with the topsy-turvy world of Wonderland. The Patchouli and Brown Sugar notes of Floral Gorgeous Gardenia by Gucci conveys her desire for adventure, while the delicate florals represent her childhood innocence.

Lizzie Bennet – Burberry | Her Intense

Elizabeth Bennet is the strong-willed heroine of Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice. Though she has good taste, she’s not one to splurge on over-the-top, complicated scents. Burberry Her Intense is a simplistic yet evocative scent that features Blackberry, Jasmine and warm, balsamic Benzoin.

Draco Malfoy – Tom Ford | Grey Vetiver

Draco Malfoy is the reoccurring rich kid villain of the Harry Potter series, and he’s absolutely a Grey Vetiver man. Smoky and stylish with a hidden edge, this fragrance will bring the Slytherin out of anyone.

Jay Gatsby – Acqua Di Parma | Essenz

Jay is the titular character of The Great Gatsby, an iconic tale of decadence and intrigue during the roaring 20’s. Acqua Di Parma’s Essenz is bursting with vibrant Citrus and relaxing green notes that conjure up extravagant garden parties in the heat of a New York summer.
